Description

This apartment is located in a beautiful complex just 200 meters from the beaches of L'Estartit, on the Costa Brava. The complex has a common pool and a separate area for children. Around the pool you will find a beautiful sun terrace with chaise lounges. The complex is also equipped with a lift. The long boulevard of the Costa Brava runs through the center of L'Estartit where you will find many shops, restaurants and bars. From the long, wide beach of L'Estartit you have a wonderful view of the Medas Islands. These islands form a nature reserve which protects the local marine life and provides an ideal place for snorkeling or diving.

Local area

L'Estartit is situated at the foot of the Mongri Mountains and is a popular small seaside resort on the Costa Brava. In the cozy, old center you will find many restaurants, bars and shops. For divers, the Medas Islands with their beautiful underwater flora and fauna, are highly recommended. It is also possible to visit the islands by boat. Entering the islands with the intent to damage the habitat in any way is not permitted! Another recommended attraction is the small town of Torroella de Montgri. This is a picturesque village where you can wander through narrow streets and enjoy a drink in one of the many small caf�s. It is also worthwhile to visit the castle of Torroella, located on Montgri Mountain. About 15 km away you will find other old, medieval villages like Pals and Peretallada. From L'Estartit the village of Figueres is easy to reach and worth a visit because of its Dal� Museum. La Bisbal is located about 20 km away and is highly recommended for ceramic lovers. Known as the 'pottery capital' it has many ceramics shops. Traditionally pitchers were produced here but nowadays there are lots of different decorative ceramics made here. Even for sports fans there is plenty to do in the area. For example, golf at a 26-hole golf course, horseback riding, cycling and hiking, just to name a few possibilities.
