Condado de Alhama is central to an array of places to visit.
The bay of Mazarron/Puerto de Mazarron is a coastal area bathed by the Mediterranean Sea and characterised by its mining past and seafaring traditions. Mazarron boasts 35 kilometres of coast, including a 10 kilometre stretch of virgin coast, containing a total of 33 beaches. The harbour doubles as a sailing and diving centre and marina travel. It offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including hiking, historic walks, horse riding and diving. You will find plenty of restaurants in the port including typical tapas bars, british food/pubs, Chinese and Indian restaurants. All this is only about a 25 minute drive.
