Nestled in the beauty of Spain's diverse countryside, amidst vineyards, cherry orchards, and olive groves, this country house offers a unique getaway. Whether you prefer walking in the hills surrounded by the scents of wild rosemary and chamomile, sampling the wines in the local bodegas or joining in on the many fiestas, this house is the perfect place to be.

Situated in the Spanish hamlet of Ubeda, only 4 km from Pinoso, it has been lovingly restored in the traditional Spanish style. Beautifully hand painted with rustic pigment walls, original stencils, and rich furnishing, the ambience created makes this accommodation the perfect venue for your vacation.

Only a 35 minutes drive away from Alicante airport the house is ideal for those who wish to experience an authentic taste of the traditional Spain away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded coastline and packed tourist beaches.

Clear blue skies and warm sunshine often make it possible to eat outdoors from May to September in the beautiful Spanish courtyards. There are two courtyards for eating outside, also ideal for just sitting and relaxing in the sun while having a coffee or a cool drink. Planted with scented herbs, colourful flowers and overhanging grape vines to provide shade, and lit by soft lighting and candles at night, they create a wonderful atmosphere for dining and chatting over a bottle of wine. Also with the house comes a huge sunny roof terrace where you can sunbathe in private.

Surrounded on three sides by vineyards, the garden is both private and quiet and has fabulous views of the hills and mountains behind. The garden has been landscaped and is planted with colourful and scented flowers, herbs, and vegetables.

The 10 x 4 m large swimming pool has the same depth throughout and is chlorine free for your health. The attached waterfall whirlpool is also a pleasant place for relaxing. Shade from the summer sun is provided in the covered naya.

The house offers 8 bedrooms in total, each decorated with their own individual style. From the large master bedroom with natural stone walls you have access to the roof terrace with incredible views over the surrounding countryside.

In the Oriental Room the rich coloured fabrics, the hand made furniture as well as the gilded and painted castillion beds create a taste of the Orient. The floor is hand painted in a herringbone brick pattern with a Mediterranean influence. With an enchanting en suite bathroom this beautiful serene room with twin beds provides accommodation for two.

The Indian Room is a double bedroom in the west wing of the house and overlooks the courtyard. With Indian elephant fretwork, rich vibrant colours and fabrics, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The en suite bathroom has a full size bath tub with shower.

The English Room also has its own en suite facilities. This bedroom has been cleverly decorated to combine both old and new style décor. With a traditional tiled bathroom this lovely room has a double bed and is suitable for those who prefer to be on the ground floor or who find stairs difficult to manage.

The Royal/Scandinavian Room comes with a double bed and a single bed ideal for a couple with one child. The room has hand painted furniture and a lovely en suite bathroom creating a delightful atmosphere.

The Grapestore/Mediterranean Room is a compact double room with a sink and an en suite shower room. The room is small but beautifully decorated with original wine casks and baskets. There is a separate toilet just outside in the hallway.

The French Room was once a room where the grapes were hung and stored. This enchanting family bedroom has been decorated using Toile-de-Jouy fabrics and hand painted furniture in a French style. This spacious room provides family accommodation with one double and one single bed.
