Description

The Ebro delta, with a total area of 320 km�, is one of the largest wetland areas in the western Mediterranean region. The town of Riumar, situated far from mass tourism, makes an excellent destination for rest and relaxation, and has a variety of recreational activities suitable for the whole family. The beaches are broad and gently slope to the sea (nice for children) and provide the opportunity to enjoy long walks (25 km). Large areas of the Delta are devoted to the protection of nature, especially the world of birds.

Here you will find cozy beach cafes, pedal boat / quad rentals, 2 tennis courts, a playground and much more! Shopping can be done directly in Riumar where you will also find a cafe offering fresh bread, a small supermarket and a bakery. A pizzeria, pastry shop and several German and Spanish restaurants offer a wide range of culinary specialties. For anglers there is even a shop with all the necessary things for fishing. The approximately 10 km long flat sandy beach is ideal for children.
